Werewolf Wrath photoshop painting WIP

I finally finished up the werewolf painting, I am very happy with how he turned out!

This is a werewolf design I have been working on. I really wanted the human elements to show through and have it look like a pained transformation with distorted human proportions: the feet and hands have extended, the cartilage of the nose has collapsed and extended into a slight snout. The ears have extended into points and all of the skin has been pulled taught over the face.

This particular design is based off the deadly sin Wrath. So I really wanted the Wrath and rage of this creature to show through. The idea is that each species of monster comes from a specific demon of the seven deadly sins. pride - witch, greed - djinn, lust - vampire, envy - gorgon, gluttony - wendigo, wrath - werewolf, sloth - lich

Some early sketches exploring some different headshapes of the werewolf. I ended up going with the top version, as it had a bit more of a unique look and also took inspiration from the original wolf man.
